Practising in NW6 & SW17
I am a counsellor offering a safe, confidential and supportive space where together we can explore issues, thoughts and behaviours that may be concerning you, and that you may feel are preventing you from getting as much out of life as you would like.
Counselling provides an opportunity for us to work together to look at areas where you may be struggling, and address current concerns in a meaningful way. If helpful we can look at how previous events and patterns may be affecting you now. Looking at your thoughts and feelings can help you take that first step towards greater self-awareness and clarity in your life, so that you can make choices in the future.
I have experience of working with adults, adolescents and children and in a non-judgemental space I put the relationship at the heart of the therapy, taking the time you need to focus on what you want to explore. I use an integrative approach that draws on a variety of perspectives and ideas that allows me to meet your particular needs.
In our initial appointment we can discuss what you’re expectations are, and whether a fixed number of sessions or longer-term work might be more appropriate.
My work experience includes anxiety, depression, bereavement and loss, abuse and domestic violence, sexual issues, stress, work stress, infertility, life transitions, low self-esteem, self-harm, marital and relationship difficulties.
Alongside my private practice, I am a Bereavement Counsellor at Wandsworth Bereavement Service and a counsellor at the BRIT School of Performing Arts.
I have a Diploma in Integrative Counselling, Bereavement Counselling and Play Therapy.
I am a member of the BACP and abide by their code of ethics, I am committed to my on going professional development, with special interests in body psychotherapy and neuroscience.
